David Hughes - Cert PFS, MinstD
Managing Director and Registered Adviser
David is the practice investment specialist

David has been an Independent Financial Adviser for over 35 years, setting up Hughes Carne in 1995. He has a wide range of experience across all aspects of financial services issues. He holds the current industry benchmark qualifications and has achieved specialist examinations in Mortgages and Home Finance (Equity Release). David will be taking further examinations to achieve the new benchmark level required by the FSA in 2012. David is a member of the Personal Finance Society and The Institute of Directors. When not working David enjoys Golf, good food and wine and is a regular visitor to France.

Keith Jarman - Dip PFS, Cert CII(MP)
Director and Registered Adviser
Keith is the practice pensions specialist

Keith joined Hughes Carne from the start having worked for a major UK Life Office for 10 years. He has the current industry benchmark qualifications and the Advanced Financial Planning Certificate passing specific examinations in the areas of Taxation, Trusts and Pensions. Keith has additional qualifications in Mortgages and Home Finance (Equity Release). He is, therefore, already qualified beyond the new FSA requirements from 2012 and plans to finish his quest to become a Chartered Financial Planner. Keith is a member of the Personal Finance Society. When he is not working Keith shares the Mark Twain approach to Golf and is a Past President of his Rotary Club.

Sharon Hughes
Director, Office Manager, PA and Company Secretary

Sharon has been with Hughes Carne since the Company was formed in 1995. Her duties are many and varied but, in the main, consist of looking after David and his clients and acting as Office Manager, ensuring that our internal procedures are adhered to.

Tina Hand
PA and Administrator

Tina joined in 2003 and acts as PA to Keith as well as providing general administrative support.

Suzanne Tucker
Para Planner and Research Assistant

Suzanne joined the company in May 2006. Although she holds the Financial Planning Certificate, the current 'industry benchmark' qualification, she is not authorised to advise clients. However, she provides a wide range of research and administrative support to David and Keith.
